Pattaya Sabai Challenge Week October 2011

Tournament Results

Sabai Cup Winners

The "Sabai Cup" is a 4BBB stableford event that we play for over  two days of the tour.  The hotel we stay in donated the trophy as well as 4 nights accommodation to each of the winning pair to come back and defend the trophy. The event was played at Khao Kheow Country Club one day and Laem Chabang Country Club the other day.

On the first day, the tied and tested team of denever and gibbo lead by one with a fine 43 on day one to lead Scott and Craig by one and the Canberra duo john and George by 2 shots.

Second day at Laem Chabang had Scott and Craig shooting 44 points putting the heat on their player partners Denver and Good Shot Gibbo. After the score cards were signed we had a draw. Tournament rules dictate that a countback is done on the back nine scores over the two days, with this Scott and Craig emerged as this years Sabai cup Champions the Bennets have 41 points to apply some pressure but Doggy and Brad reply with 42 and win by 3 from Gary and Jenny Bennett
