| Thailand Golf Tours started out in 1996 when two friends starting taking some of their friends to a great golfing destination, Thailand, as the word spread about the amazing time that Thailand offered, the group numbers grew, now the group sizes average 30 -40 golf fanatics from throughout the world, from UK, Dubai, Singapore, Alaska and New Zealand. |

Tour Leader Mark Penfold has been involved in the golfing industry for the past 18 years. He is an ‘A’ Grade player, specialising in golf sales, golf club design and golf club fitting. Mark regularly conducts golf days in metropolitan Sydney as well as hosting domestic golf tours each year to popular golfing destinations including the Mighty Murray River Courses, The Hunter Valley and The Central Coast. In 2003 Mark met his Thai wife Nongnapat in Australia and they were married in Thailand in a traditional ceremony. |

They now have a beautiful daughter nick named Caramel ( Not chocolate, not vanilla ) who was born just before the last Tour in October of 2007. After meeting Nongnapat in Australia , Mark has cemented very strong ties with the Thai community in both Thailand and in Australia . Mark plays golf from a very low single figure handicap, so if you need to fix your game while on tour, he’s the guy you want to have in your four ball team. |
