The SGA International, March 17 - 24, Pattaya, Thailand Following on with the huge sucess of our State Titles and Australia Titles on the Gold Coast each year,Social Golf Australia (SGA) is pleased to announce that we are launching our first event outside Australia: *The SGA International* to be played for the first time in Pattaya, Thailand from March 17 - 24, 2012. The event includes four competition rounds of stableford over seven days and an optional practice round on the rest day. This event coincides with our partners Thailand Golf Tours, Pattaya Amateur Golf Week. Mathew Pitt from Social Golf Australia will be hosting this inaugral event which will become the international event each year for Social Golf Australia.
Day 1 Saturday 17th March 2012	Depart your Capital City. Arrrive Bangkok. Transferred to your hotel, Sabai Resort in Pattaya.
Day 2	Free day PM Welcome Group Dinner
Day 3 First Round		Khao Kheow. Designed by golfing architect Peter Dye, Khao Kheow’s course has beautifully maintained fairways and greens will bring out the best in your game – and then there’s the challenge of Dye’s signature ‘island’ hole!
Day 4 Second Round		Thai Country Club is a prestigious member’s only course. The 7,157-yard course, from the professional tees, was the venue for the 1997 Asian Honda Classic, where Tiger Woods cruised to a comfortable 10-stroke victory after shooting a final round of 68 for a 20 under-par total of 268.
Day 5 Optional Round Siam Country Club (Plantation)		In March 2008, a new 27-hole golf course was opened with the name Siam Country Club (Plantation Course). This course was designed by a well known Arizona based, Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. The “PLANTATION” name was given in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations, and each 9-hole is named accordingly
Day 6 Third Round		Siam Country Club The first privately owned course in Thailand was also the first Thai course to ever host an LPGA event: the 2007 Honda LPGA Thailand. The immaculate greens are huge, elevated and contoured, meaning even the best putters will want the expertise of a well-trained caddie. The last four holes make up what is widely considered the best closing stretch in Thailand.
Day 7 Final Round PM Farewell Party and Awards Night		This course is a picturesque Jack Nicklaus designed championship course is the best layout in Pattaya. Laem Chabang is made up of 27 holes on 700 acres and makes use of 3 types of features which characterize each of the 9 holes. Each type of terrain corresponds to a 9-hole course in a unique way, and as such each one is named Mountain, Lake and Valley.
Day 8 Saturday 24th March 2012	Transfer to airport for flight home
